Taste & Texture is an interactive nutritional, living and enjoyment consultation initiative built on the simple premise that food is merely taste and texture. We bring nutrition and culinary education into the home or office via a series of customized workshops and classes ranging from individual to group instruction.
We work with you to convert your favorite foods into their healthier alternatives. We stress the importance of meal planning and grocery lists. We talk about kitchen sanitation and safety; the role of the recipe; the importance of spice versus “just salt and pepper”; cooking methods, techniques and tools. Our customized workshops and classes range from three hours to three days and our toolbox includes tips and techniques that satisfy the palates of omnivores to vegans.
Additionally, our Chef, in preparation for working together, conducts a two-part interview prior to the first session. Clients are asked to complete a brief online survey which explores their current dietary lifestyle and cooking rituals, followed by a phone interview to discuss their objectives for the session.
